Tasty, if not very complex. Paired well with mixed vegetarian meal (Scully’s). Pure fruit, rich mouthfeel, everything in balance. Ready now, not enough complexity to develop further.
Looking forward to comparing this with with big brother Beaucastel from the same vintage in due course, but saving those in storage for the moment...
Thought: has anyone done horizontal tasting of the three Beaucastel white wines (Coudoulet; Blanc; Vieilles Vignes)?

The wine is yellow-gold in color. with scents of bee pollen, tropical fruits, and spice on the nose. This medium-full bodied wine was rich and round on the palate, with flavors of tropical fruit, stone fruit, lemon zest, and a mineral note with just with just enough acidity, to pull everything together nicely in the finish. Excellent.

Ripe pineapple, peach, beepollen, mushroom, cedar, hearty. Soft with med acidity, med+ body. Decent finish.

Honeymoon of our friends Loek en Saskia (Côte d'Azur): Friendly juicy, although a bit flat, bit sharp in the finish, sympa, but not more.
