Dark purple-red, translucent at the edges. Violets, black cherries, cedar on the nose. Smooth and elegant on the palate, yet fruit is intense. Black cherries, blackberries, cedar. Sweet cherries on the mid-palate. Fine tannins, great acidity and balance. Finishes long and gradual with dark chocolate and black cherries. Fabulous cabernet but needs 5 years to peak. Drink over the next 10 years. 15.2% ABV but no heat.

Brought this to a bbq and had it with a lightly grilled Filet Mignon steak. I loved it and it's in the sweet spot of where I enjoy WA state wines the most. I'm surprised I'm below the CT average. I guess everyone loves this wine! I had this alongside a 2015 Château Pape Clément. The QC is much more my taste.
