  Not the greatest value wine but it is still enjoyable and at the price do not regret buying it. Upon opening at 8c it has delicate white fruit on the nose and a little more defined/obvious in the mouth enough acidity to last a a few more years but I would suggest drinking rather than storing for much longer. Went really well with a simple fish stock risotto .
  Maybe I am being a little harsh on my score, maybe not.

  Upon opening at 8c it was very green and not much else quite unlike anything I would expect from the Rheingau.
  As it got warmer it really changed and whilst nothing special much more of the Rheigau. Smoother rounder & hints of fruit
