Bottle age is helping this wine. Still taut and mineral, but feels more in balance with the lemon, oak and hints of pineapple that appear towards the finish. A great balance between cool climate new world and burgundy, and nice to see just 12.5% abv.

Four years plus from my last bottle and the speed of development is glacial. Still minerally, focused and quite reminiscent of Chablis. This is correct and obviously well made, but it's just a little difficult to fall in love with it!

Smoked lemon on the nose. In a really delicious way. All cool climate, crisp and clean. Sorry, two thoughts joined. ALl cool climate vineyards, mostly tumbaramba. Then crisp and clean on the palate. Could be chablis I am being told.

Pre wine dinner tasting. The wine is typical chard, oak, ripe yellow fruit, butter, and pineapple. slight reduction on nose. Leaner and crisp palate. more green apple, restraint, and mineral tinge to it. Acid elevated. New world but has an old world feel to it.
