Medium ruby colour in the glass. Blackberry, sweet plums, peppermint and vanilla dominate the nose. Taste profile is of concentrated dark fruits, pepper, cedar and spice. Lovely long finish with adequate but smooth tannins. Tasting very fresh and already now refined with fantastic integration of fruit and oak elements.

Delicious fruit, splash of wood, chocolate and subtle mint. Smooth oak, soft luxurious tannins, a nice line of integrated acid. soft and full bodied on the front and mid palate with lingering length. Would have cellared for another decade but I only had one bottle and I haven't tasted a Lawsons Padthaway for donkeys years. Drinking really well now, over two nights, wish I had more. 94

[screw cap] deep dark fruit, blackberry, blueberry, some fig, hints of vanilla and nutmeg and just a touch of choc mint medium+ weight, plenty of length on the finish a wine with massive upside, but will need plenty of time to show
