Purchased from the tasting room in Blenheim from Mr. (Peter) Clark himself, and consumed in Wellington. A nice pale pink in the glass, the nose features strawberry, raspberry and white flowers. This wine has some minerality, ample acidity, and is essentially dry with perhaps a touch of residual sugar. This is very tasty pinot noir Rosé that avoids the sharp, metallic-like finish of many other pinot noir Rosé I've tried. If in Blenheim, be sure to visit this quaint tasting room open evenings!
