Similar to my last two notes. 1hr+ decant. Dark red color but not all that deep. Lovely Bordeaux style nose. Dark cherries, cedar, and a touch of oak on the palate. Integrated sweetness with hints of spice. Medium depth and finish. Very nice!

Very dark red/purple color. PNP, drank a glass over a couple hours. This didn't wow me at the start. The nose is pleasant with plenty of sultry black fruits, black cherry and cassis, a little savory with some roasted meat, iron, damp earth and wood notes. The palate is where things seem to be in flux. Initially a little angular and woody, but a couple hours later showing more balance and integration. Full bodied, dark fruits, earth, oak, loam and some heat at times. This seemed best at about 4 hours and then was not as good the next day. Will be curious to see how my last bottle fairs.

1hr+ decant. Dark red color. This is truly classic Napa all around!! Dark cherries, subtle new oak, menthol, and a hint of smoke. Medium depth and finish. Lovely!

Dark as a moonless night, the nose and palate followed suit. It was all dark fruit with anise, boot polish, creosote and burning embers. Full-bodied mid-palate with a shorter finish and some unresolved tannins. An interesting style although it came across as a bit disjointed. Not sure this will make for old bones.

Very dark ruby color. Has plenty of life left. A fantastic wine with the ribeye. Smells of dark fruit, green apple rind. Beautiful balance.
