Cranberry, sage, oak, leather, minerals. Starting to show some age coloration. Decanted for 1.5hrs first day. Second day seemed to lose some punch.

It was good. It did not knock my socks off, but was drinkable.
Louis Jadot 2017 Vintage en Primeur Barrel Tasting (Brasserie Margeaux - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. A bit of reduction made this tough to fairly assess, but the fruit comes across as simple for the vintage.
Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Red berry throughout. Fun and simple. Good now.
