  Deep ruby color with slow legs. New oak, cassis, blackberry and lead pencil on the nose. Dark berry, dust, plum andpepper on the palate. Long leathery finish.

  Of the wine club bottles from Chimney Rock, this has been one of the best (but more still to be consumed). Had the 2013 and 2014 side by side. The 2014 had a little more structure.

  Shared bottle with some golfing buddies at a member guest. Very balanced cab, long legs, smooth finish, dark berries with a hint of leather. Stored in wine locker and temperature was perfect. This one would have lasted many years to come...
