  Medium garnet color with powerful Shea fruit and spices on the nose. Red cherries and strawberries, pepper and earth in the background.
  
  The palate shows rich red fruits with blackberries and plums. More pepper here with medium acidity and fairly hefty and slightly out-of-balance 14.4% alcohol. Spice lingers on a medium finish that thins out rather quickly.
  
  A few more years may sort these pieces out more completely, but for now it’s a bit scattered. More CA than Burgundy in style.

  Deep and dark and not obviously a classical Pinot. Confected on the nose and quite deep and sweet.

  About as good a Pinot noir as I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of fruit and acid, medium bodied with a rich finish

  In a word, strawberry. Delicate with great balance of acid and bright fruit. Crisp and refreshing with a medium finish. Did I mention strawberry?
