Not the most complex wine. Typical nebbiolo notes but not as dialed in as Piedmont nebbiolo. Maybe fresher and less oak? I don’t know enough about this bottle so unsure. Drinking well right now. Develops volume and intensity on the palate, generating a long finish. Soft tannins and nice acidity.
Finishing the bottle on the 5th day. Such an elegant expression of nebbiolo. I think I’m wrong about my note above. It’s very different from Piedmont but not in a bad way. Very bright. The fruit is so pure. Less of the rose, licorice, and mint but I get whiffs of it here and there. On this day, I get more minerality, perhaps clay and wet rocks. The wine coats your mouth in the best way. Much citrus acidity. If I had another bottle, I would hold because with time, it seems that the wine wants to give you more and more.

Seems like it's solid in the primary stage, and edging towards secondary development. Tannins are smooth for nebbiolo, acid is clean and crisp. Bright red fruit and citrus. I'm going to save my second to open in ~5 years.

Blind tasting. Brief note. Pnp. Really liked this wine. Nose and palate showed bright cranberry, tart rhubarb, florals, cold hard minerals, and judicious baking spice. Very fresh red fruited midpalate is propped up by good acidity and perfect balance leads to medium and very pleasurable finish.

tasted blind. Nose candied fruits -- almost slightly carbonic tasting; grapey, roses, initially some funk that fades. Palate sweet and yet tart cherries. Interesting, unique, not traditional but a tasty rendition all the same. 92 pts
