  • The last time I tasted this wine was four years ago. I obviously enjoyed this bottle more than the last because the same notes don’t apply. There is some WV earthy funk here. Not as much as I usually like but it’s there. Mature cherry and blackberry notes. Nice wine.

  • Not a bad Willamette Pinot. Expected aromatics of earth and cherries. Some toasted oak on the nose as well. Very fruit forward. Not a lot going on really. Could use a little more earthiness and acid and maybe a little less fruitiness. For my taste this was just ok. The WV is my favorite region, but this was lacking some finesse.

  • This has an expressive earthy, dark fruited Dr Pepper and sandalwood driven nose that leads to a medium bodied palate with plum and spice notes that linger. A decent domestic QPR Pinot.

  • Medium-dark reddish garnet with a ever so slight purple tint in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe red cherries, blueberries & strawberries with overtones of floral notes of violets & exotic spices of sandalwood, earthy, tea, minerals & a hint of vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, earthy, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Drinks quite well and is readily accessible at present but should develop further with a few years of additional aging. Quite fruit focused, rich & balanced & a very good example of Willamette Valley Pinot.

  • Earthy smell. Mushroom smell.

Taste of berries. Hint of lemon.
