Barn leather and earth opening on the nose. Still lively acidity and medium tight tannin. Browning in appearance. Developed more tertiary, earthy, savory notes. Strawberry poptart fresh out of the package followed by some fading currant.

Lively nose, with aromas of plum, blackberry, and smoke jumping out of the glass. The palate didn't match, even after a couple hours of airtime; stemmy and astringent, with flavors of tart cherry, bitter plum, and charcoal. Left for 24 hours, then retried tonight. Much softer on night 2, with more defined fruit flavors of plum and black cherry up front, followed by hints of smoke on the medium/short finish. Hard to rate overall, but if patient can be a nice value at $15.

Wine Appreciation@SUTD (Somapah): Leafy, blue and black fruits (plums, raspberries). Juicy, soft spices, ashy and savoury leather. Fantastic youthful. A great introduction to a st emillion blend - certainly fantastic value! Paired with a simple gouda, this just keeps getting better! Clever pairing!

Solid Bordeaux for the price. Did not need long decanting. Smooth out of the gate. Very enjoyable with a nice Ny strip.

Plummy, smoky dark fruit. Smooth tannins.
Drinks well with or without food.
