Anderson's Conn Valley Library Tasting (Temecula, CA): On its last legs, yet still a sophisticated, quality Chardonnay. Fruit is hanging on - pan-seared pear and apple - while chamomile tea, butterscotch, sourdough, and ginger add depth to the aroma and palate. A hint of fresh acidity gives a lift to the moderate-length finish. I'm guessing this was fantastic from about 2010-2015.

From a magnum on thanksgiving day. Butterscotch hits you immediately followed by a tingle of still vibrant oak. Rich gold color. Very nice.

Butterscotch with a zing on the finish. Hey, I enjoy older wines and this is still enjoyable (to me)!
