50% Cab Franc w/ Malbec and Tannat. Very stoney Cab Franc nose. Medium tannin, medium plus body and quite the substantial wine relative to other offerings here at Soif.

Third Coast Soif (Chicago, IL): Fun stuff, definitely shows a bit of the cabernet franc character from the green peppers and pyrazine. Juicy, but also some dusty elements that are more of the old world. Plenty of tannin.

Blackberry, tomato leaf, green pepper, and slate are followed by a lithe and elegant palate with balanced, though grippy tannins, and above average acidity for these varietals. More Loire than domestic. Interesting without being profound.
