Elegant nose, deep cherries, a bit mint and menthol, black berries and plum. On the mid palate a bit thin, sour cherries, chocolate. Medium+ acidity, fine, medium tannins

Revisiting this wine after 6 months. Drinking smooth after 2 hours of decant time. While this wine is not overly complex, nothing is out of balance, nor are there any flaws. Has an old world flavor component, typical in la Rioja wines, which we find comforting. The earthy black fruit, wet cedar, eucalyptus and black pepper melded nicely. A solid everyday drinker at $21.44/bottle, that went quite well with our Dutch oven cooked whole chicken. Will be fun to see how this evolves with our remaining 7 bottles.

Fig, currant, and light oak on the nose with a bright palate that finishes with a hint of mint. Paired perfectly with a spicy turkey chili recipe and sweet cornbread. A very food friendly wine!

Weiterhin gut drauf, schwarz, dicht, leicht angekühlt und mit etwas Luft ist das sehr gut. Steak-Frites-Wein.
