  Inky dark in the glass. Oak and dark fruit on the nose. On the palate dark and rich with a lingering finish. Quality juice.

  Dense purple color. Fantastic nose of creme de cassis, blue and black fruits, hot embers and a gravel road after a summer squall. Full bodied with an excellent tannic structure, this is just fabulous with flavors that echo the aromas along with cedar-lined spice box. Delicous now so why wait? Drink now-2030. 93.

  The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cranberry, blackberry, prune, raisin, fig, plum, medium toast, nutmeg and rose. It tastes like blackberry, raspberry, prune, fig, raisin, cherry, medium toast, smokey bacon and oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

  I wasn’t expecting too much -> this just hit the mark square-on as a pleasant Napa cab paired w a steak. Mocha and dark red fruits with a med finish. Not a mega wow but sometimes I enjoy a wine more when I’m not hoping for some transcendental experience and then it delivers the goods above expectations. Drink now or wait (but why wait)
