Same notes as prior-"Pretty good Gigondas for the money. Some good dark fruit, a little earthiness and tar. Some good dark fruit, plum flavors, a good added mix of a little earthiness, tar, and gamey flavors. Needs a little time to open, maybe an hour, to get some spice and acidity to shine. btw..nice looking classy bottle too.

Beautiful garnet color. Nice aromas of cherries and earth. But the flavor is the prize here--luscious and spicy red fruits with a touch of earth and mineral on the palate, with a mild but noticeable dose of spice on the finish. Slightly tannic, so could hold for more time, if desired. 14.5% alcohol.

Very good, at its peak now. Rich and velvet tanins with mature fruit. A good moment!
