Dark brick red in color. Best after decanting for > 1 hour. Nose of oak, vanilla, strawberry and cinnamon. Silky texture. More jammy that I expected from a St Emilion, but yet more delicate than a Australia Shiraz. Flavor similar to nose, dominated by strawberry-oak with significant note of black pepper spice. Cinnamon surfaces on the long finish. Give it a minute to meld with your tongue after swallowing. Good wine for the value. Gotta love Saint-Emilion.
