  • I confess, I had no idea what to expect, I mean 1995? I also confess, I thought it would be in good shape, and it was. In fact, the color's still holding, the aromas are a lovely, mature, and ripe-ish black and red berry mixtures, with a distinct, and persistent, pomegranate note; there are soil characteristics virtually everywhere. The palate is full (minus) bodied, with a slightly creamy nature to it, though it's never blowsy, boring or gratuitous. Some very nice winegrowing, and winemaking here. One left that I'll open in the next few years. A great surprise; cork and fill in vg cond. 13.0% abv. recommended
