Darn good, but certainly a big wine! Huge dark fruit, cotton candy and some red fruit. Enough spice and some earth to shore up the palate. This was candied upon opening, but became much better with a decant. Drinks far above the $21 I paid. Edit: 3 days later, this drank as well as any grenache I've ever had. Earthy complexity, with a hint of delicious candied fruit. Fantastic. 93

A heavier example. Would not have guessed Grenache blind.

Really nice. Great nose. Very full bodied. Still some tannin to resolve but very tasty with many good years ahead.

Lots of density- needs more time or even more time in the decanter. On the 3rd day (recorked) still needed more time.
