  • Popped and poured. Medium ruby colour. Red and dark fruit, forest notes, coffee, tobacco, spices, liquorice, tea, and slate like minerality, with great acidity, well-integrated tannin, and great persistence. Well-balanced. Creamy and smoothly textured after some aeration, in particular from day two. A very good Beaujolais. On day one I thought I liked it even better in its youth, for its vibrancy and freshness, but the good integration and smoothness made up for it from day two. Very good value.

  • Translucent medium ruby. Floral notes, violets, red and dark berry fruit which became redder and redder with time, yoghurt, a hint of coffee, forest notes, spices and liquorice, with great acidity, well-integrated tannin and very good persistence. Mineral, red fruit- and Asian spice-driven finish. Vibrant, balanced and very fresh. A lovely Beaujolais! Very good value. Great weekday wine. Serve slightly chilled.

  • Good weeknight Beaujolais. Pretty aromas of rose petals and mocha. It's light bodied with tart fruit flavors - cranraspberry and blood orange with lean salty minerals and green stemmy notes.

  • Very enjoyable. Delicious berries, a little tart. This wine is best served at cellar temperature or a little cooler - though not cold. But not at room temp, IMO. It's a refreshing wine that isn't demanding a lot of introspection. These are the wines I'm in the mood for right now: natural wines from the Beaujolais. Maybe because it's summer. Not taking it lightly though: This one has a lot of integrity. It's not factory-made. I appreciate the work that went into making it.
