Honeyed, floral notes on the nose, along with some toasted almond. The palate is broad, fleshy, and low in acidity. A touch of heat integrated over time. I liked this better than the bottle a year ago, but I still feel it's priced too high for what it is.

By the glass. The abuse of wood hides all possible aromatic range of this wine but on the other hand adds density, length and richness on the palate. Another white St. Joseph which needs time to suffocate.
Por copas. El abuso de la madera oculta toda la posible gama aromática de este vino pero por otra parte añade densidad, longitud y riqueza en el paladar. Otro St Joseph blanco más que necesita años para sofocarse.

Very anonymous wine. Indistinct fruit flavors, low acidity, little complexity. Seemed like a generic entry-level crowd pleaser. Terrible qpr.

Weekly tasting group RWP #358: Burgundy and Northern Rhone (@ VD): A lot of candy flavors and ripe fruits in the bouquet. Same on the palate, butter, caramel and tropical fruit flavors. 90 - 91

Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #039: Northern Rhone white (By JdB): Yellow fruits and anise in the bouquet. On the palate butter, yellow fruits, vanilla, some pepper and ok acidity. There is something special in this wine, so I wonder if it is 100% fresh. No score
