  Popped and poured. This seems to have developed quite nicely. It is an oily golden yellow. Brilliant. Unmistakeable Meursault nose of grilled nuts and crushed stones. Beautiful. Nice fruit in the mouth, well-balanced though perhaps just a touch on the acid side. That is a quibble, as this is drinking quite well with a lovely, creamy finish. 5-13-16-8: 92/100. (I wouldn't be surprised to see this rate a point higher with more bottle age. Seems to have plenty of time to run.)

  Darker yellow in color. Chalky nose with ripe notes of tangerine/meyer lemon. Disappointing on the palate, finishes flabby. No noticeable damage to the wine, but it may not have been stored properly.
