  • A fair allrouder - a bit of everything.
In detail: a bit of elegance, a bit of oilyness, a bit of minerality, a bit of playfulness. Lots of acidity (but not too much, in Mosel terms at least).

This results in a well drinkable and fairly fun off-dry riesling, nothing spectacular but unquesitonably pleasant.

On the liabilities side, while I would not say it's shameless to call this a spätlese, I feel that many Spätleses of the better Mosel winemakers offer more depth and/or intesity than this.

Very young, of course, and I cannot tell how it will develop, I only know that Mullen's wines tend to age very well.

The price of 13 EUR is okay-ish although more on the higher side, for now this delivers more like the upper midfield of 10-EUR-wines in terms of Mosel.
