Bright medium red. Lots of red berry, cherry and plum fruit with some developing herbal earthiness. Delicious dry red berry and thyme flavours and a long dry textured finish.

PnP, with initial notes of raspberry, red currant, smoked meat, and spice on the nose. Palate shows raspberry and red currant, with mixed herbs and hints of tar. Tannins are more robust on the finish than I'd expected, further poof that this is a year or two away from really singing. But it's elegant now, sporting a satiny mouthfeel and ample acidity to keep it fresh.

Purple to dark garnet in color and clear in the glass; Aromas of cherry, herbs, vanilla, and violets on the nose; fasted of cherry on the palate; medium(+) body, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannins; long finish. Harmonious and distinctive with acidity driving the wine into the finish. Great Gigondas from an incredible vintage.

Very good young traditional Southern Rhone wine. Showing red berry, thyme and warm earth notes. It did shut down a wee bit after an hour or so.
