Wow, this is a case where three years in the bottle bumped the score up from an 82 to a 90. Totally different wine experience from what I tasted back in 2020. Glad this wine came around.

Medium ruby. Medium plus intensity nose- barnyard, black cherry, sawdust, blackberry, black pepper, anise, caramel. Developing. Dry, high acid, medium plus tannin, high alcohol, medium plus body. Pronounced flavor- black cherry, licorice, leather, dill. Long finish. Very good. Drink now, potential for further aging.

Super hot and heated juice at 15.5% alchohol. Still I liked it as the Grenache is sweet prune and plum skin juice. Likely to improve over the next few years. Worth trying at $23/ bottle. My Score Reflects 2 points of value.

Very purple - nose quite muted black fruit alcohol burn upfront. Palate very smooth (alcohol!) with pronounced black cherry - said to be 60% Grenache 40 % Syrah - I get the grenache for sure but the elegance/ sophistication of Syrah? - well not for me right now. Having said all that this is a good value mid-Rhône so don’t let me put you off!!! And an hour later the Syrah comes through like Blucher at Waterloo! Anyhow good wine whichever way up!

Too much alcohol, stewed flavours, heavy and lacks freshness. Disappointing bottle, I think they waited too long to harvest the grapes.
