Not much aroma but very tasty in a unique way. Some herbal tones, low tannin, full body, medium finish, smooth. Went well with aged cheddar and then lamb shanks.

2015 Chateauneuf du Papes (Lou's): Not a wine that i can recall trying before. Ruby/purple in color. The nose is very tight and never seemed to fully open. Perhaps more purple fruits than red with some spice. Much more open on the palate. Flat out delicious wine. Not a ton of complexity but juicy black raspberries and black cherries. Smooth and easy to drink. Nice finish.
