Late night small group at Maison Dakota. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Appearance unfiltered, medium intensity, ruby colour. Thin legs. Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of sexy earth, sea salt minerality, lifted rose florals, sweet spices, sage herb, some stones. Developed. On the palate, dry, refreshing high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), medium- tannins, medum+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet spices, sweet red plums, sour red cherries, light rosewater, sexy earth, salty stony minerality. Long finish. Very good quality. Impressive. Sexy drink that goes down well and fast. 90% Mencía and 10% Garnacha Tintorera.

Silky black fruit and salty savoury terroir making its mark. Wonderful concentration and depth for a 12,5% alcohol wine. I hope and think this will age really well for a number of years but it is already really delicious. 91 with potential!

Young and a little bit disjointed at the moment. Still good though with silky black fruit and additional notes of herbs and gravel. Not that complex at the moment, but still delicious. Will probably keep remaining bottles for a few years.
