This was a crisp sparkling wine, perfect to start off a Thanksgiving feast. It was a pale gold with fine bubbles. It had a classic aroma of fresh bread and light pear. The taste is soft and fruit-forward with some spice notes.

No great judgement from me as I'm not much of a fizz fan but at £25 from Waitrose supermarket (UK) this seemed well priced and very pleasant stuff. Would like to try the rose.

One of the better English Sparklers I’ve enjoyed. Very little mousse to it, but the bubbles are minuscule. Smells a touch sweet, with crisp Granny Smith apple and yeast. Maybe a touch of chalk on the palate with a ton of lime...stops short of making you pucker. The lime, mixed with brioche like notes, reminds me of key lime pie.

Very fine. Fresh acidity, mature fruits, buiscuits, minerals. Quite long.

2016: lett floral og bakstpreget engelsk champagne. Nydelig balanse i munn. Ikke av de tørreste. Imponerende vin
