  Still drinking well, medium/full body. Purple. Vanilla, Oak, Cinnamon, Cherry, and currant. Medium to long finish.

  Light ruby, cherry, raspberry nose. PnP starts out with a little harsh and bitter, starts to open up losing the bitter and the fruit comes out, cherries with tannins, a little thin compared to previous, see what tomorrow brings, usually improves on the second day.

  Inky dark ruby, ripe cherry with oak nose. Dry tannins on PnP, strong tannins with some bitter. Seemed to get better with open time in glass. Improved, but not rocking like previous bottles, still pretty good with dusty berry, some bell pepper, moderately long sweet and sour finish. Heading toward the finish line. Last puppy coming up.

  medium ruby, beautiful oaky nose. Dry, red fruits, well balanced tannins & acid. This is a lovely wine with good mouth feel. Vanilla present in the oak finish. I have been critical of this negociant's offerings being of questionable & variable quality, but this one is worth the tariff, while probably over priced, compares with high value offerings very well. Finishing off a week later, the oak has left with a ripe plum remaining, a little tannin on the finish. Still OK, but best drunk within a few days, although I originally opened and re-corked this bottle after a tasting 6 months ago.

  Ruby, med body, black berry, leather, very smooth and nicely balanced with dry finish. While some of the wines purchased from Montesquieu have not aged well and were over priced, this one is a gem, has aged well and is delicious and compares well QPR.
