Lighter style Pinot, shows strawberry, raspberry and grape (think Fanta grape soda) fruit flavors. Not flawed, just way too sweet for me leading to a low score.

This wine was medium ruby with orange near the edge, and clear rim. The nose had red cherry and raspberry of low intensity. Palate was same, low intensity, with a bit of residual sugar noted. Tannin was medium, acid was medium. 13.9% abv, cork. This wine is way more about the interesting textures and the smooth tannins than about the nose or palate. Nose is rather too simple, but the mouth feel was quite pleasing. This wine is a good example of why Oregon PN is superior to California. This wine was on the edge of being watery. The fine tannins gave medium body, however the wine needed more acidity to wake it up a bit more and perhaps bring out more on the nose. Willamette outperforms at a similar price point around $19.

Nose of raspberry and baking spices. Tastes of cherries, raspberries, and rhubarb. Easy drinking, but on the sweet side. Medium bodied. 3,18,6,3,4;50=84

Tasted like grape juice. Really hoping the bottle was bad.
