Typically, "Fermented using the native, wild yeasts that occur naturally on the skins of the grapes. Unwooded, it is fermented in underground cement tanks in a slow, volatile process that can take anywhere between 6 – 9 mos."
N: A forest floor-like component I can't quite ID, but not particularly attractive
P: LM body; RNDISH entry with NICE, surprisingly intense oak/frt beautifully counterbalanced by an acidity which moves the process into & through the LONG, balanced finish with a tangy/swtness & a very VERY slight bitterness which, @ least right now, should be fine with food. For now & through '20 as I've concerns for longer because of the bitterness. My VG; 91 pts ea Vinous (Martin, 8/1/18) & winalign.com (9/’18). Fascinating expression of chardonnay. Sees no wood, rather subterranean cement tank fermentation 6-9 months. Crisp, unctuous mouthfeel in a way that entices one to savor each and every sip. Unique. Closest approximation? A fine Chablis.

Hyfsad vid öppning men gräslig tre dagar senare. Besk och allmänt tjurig

Ljust gul i färgen. Doft av mango och blommor. Smak av tropisk frukt och kryddor.
