Decanted to air and remove any sediment Deep cherry colour turning to brick Muted nose initially. Opened more after about 30 minutes Good fruit on palate. Slight dryness

Just eh. Dark cherry color. The nose was never really opening up, the palate had the nice Sangio thing going. Mouthful of fruit, some jump in the alate then eh. Never really opend up over two days or came around. Either bad storage, bad year, but really disapointed on QRP.

Dark colored, brooding wine with black fruit, rather heavy aromas of licorice, chocolate and a whiff of vegetality. Typical Tuscan nose, full body and tannic.

Good wine from unremarkable vintage, limitations in taste and nose but well made, reasonably complex w peppery, supple aromas. Will improve w at least 2 hrs decanting. I wouldn't bother w much more time in cellar, drink within a year or two.

This 13-year old Super Tuscan drank wonderfully. No decanting needed. The slightly darker garnet red that shows up in older vintages was present.
