  • after a couple of bad-cellared bottles, this is perfect and delivers a complete sense of the pinot blanc grape with its understated elegance and its fine complexity of white (pears) and yellow (peaches) fruit with some aromatic hints. Pinot blanc is unreasonably considered a poor grape and only rarely reaches its peaks : this is the case. The drinking window is closing, so hurry up

  • badly cellared, resembles more to a sicilian chardoonay than to a Pinot Blanc from Alto Adige. Nonetheless, a nice wine although San Michele has a different taste

  • this bottle seems a little bit overripe compared to my previous experiences. Golden yellow at the eye, notes of orange candies, smoothed acidity almost faded away. Lost some of the great elegance this wine has showed in previous bottles, and hard to tell this is a Pinot Blanc, as it should be. But nonetheless it is enjoyable.   • Light yellow

    «Yellow fruit impression on the Nose, aromas of pears and tropical fruity, some (well integrated oak)

    Quite fat in the mouth, showing the warm vintage, very long with good balance, prefer «volder» vintages because this sample lacks some freshness which you normally expect from tid wine/producer
