Made Julia Child’s beef bourguignon with one bottle and served with another two. Nice ruby color. Nose of ripe strawberry and plums. Medium bodied wine with decent acidity, good fruit and a hint of spice.

Wow, very impressed with this wine, especially at the price point. Strawberry and raspberry flavors paint a tapestry over this firm, acidic wine with a pleasing minerality and moderate finish. This vintage is essentially no longer available in the US and I am regretting not picking up more bottles.

More Gigondas than CdR. Lots of firming acidity and hidden tannins. Medium to full bodied. Needs 12+ hour decant to reveal all the sweet red fruits.
