Had glas and wasn’t to wowed but the next day this started blossoming. Delicate fruits, some lactic notes and a mineral touch on the finish. Pretty well balanced, light & digestible but with substance to keep you fascinated.

This is great. I’ll echo the preceding notes and say that on pop and pour there are lovely aromatics of red berry fruit with a palate showing the same with nice texture and structure. Improves with air, gaining weight. Obviously not super complex but that is not expected at this level. Great casual wine when you don’t feel like spending four hours waiting.
This is a perfect wine to demonstrate the value of CellarTracker amateur reviews as compared with some notable wine reviewers. A review of this wine is copied below. (Hope no violation...) Don’t know if he has a grudge against this grower or if he just had a bad bottle of wine but clearly there is a difference of opinion. Well recommended if you can find it.
“14.5 points (Dom Violot-Guillemard, Les Maison-Dieu Bourgogne Red) Stinky drainage aromas on the nose, simple palate and light body with some harshness to the tannin. (Drink between 2019 - 2022)”

Very lovely. So sorry is my last bottle. Cherry cola, kept evolving over the course of three days. Incredible drinkability. Excellent light Bourgogne.
