Much better bottle than the simplistic one three months ago--this one showed the stuffing that made our Dork group guess, at a tasting billed Anything But Champagne, that I'd brought a French ringer.

Much better than our last bottle two months ago. Still what one CTer called a porch quaffer, lacking the complexity the wine had on release, but fresher and not as yellow or mature as that other bottle.

Discovered six that I didn't realize we still had. Nervous, opened a bottle yesterday to find: youthful color and nose. No sign of age. Got mustier and more leathery in the glass, though, and in a nice way. No worries for the remaining bottles, though I'll probably make a point to drink them all in the next three years.

Had a few of these now, but just getting around to noting on this one. Not super complex or interesting, but a fine porch quaffer. Light yellow color hinting towards green a bit. Breast and yeasty on the nose with apple, pear, honey, and wet stone. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of apple, pear, and iron. 87-88

A nice bouquet with citrus and honey undertones on the nose and tongue. Nice!
