From magnum. Very good, bordering on outstanding. A relatively bigger, richer style than the Jayer/Rouget Echezaux tasted beforehand. This should age very successfully but was enjoyable now too.

Bruno Clair Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 3, Visit 3) (Marsannay): Tasted at the domaine. Very dense, tannic and chewy but with so much substance. Maybe not a long of fun today, but there is so much great stuff here, but this is slightly awkward now and might need a couple a couple of decades to show what it can be. Great potential (I think), 2036-.

Feels touch thinner than I'd like.

Subtle spice and oak aromatics. Tannins present but not harsh. Balanced, fairly elegant on palate.

Dégustation au Dom. Bruno Clair (Marsannay-la-Côte): Difficile à lire également. Riche et intense, plus sombre et tannique mais jamais rustique. À attendre très longtemps.
