Fruit Day - Very Pale core out to a faded red rose coloured edge and wide translucent rim - light in colour but no browning showing. I would have expected this to be absolutely brown by now. On the nose there’s a potpourri of aromas, but not in a bad way. There’s rose water, dried strawberries, dried sweet herbs, a touch of rum and tar and cooking spices (mainly cinnamon and allspice). On the medium bodied palate the rose water hits first, then the dried red fruit and herbs but then the spice hits and it’s a wild ride - so many cooking spices here, it’s like a Morrocan bazaar! Crazy spice and dried roses finish. This isn’t Pinot as I know it but its a really interesting wine and no where near dead. Terrific way (except for the Champagne at midnight) to end 2019.

Whoa. Skip double whoa and right to triple whoa. I was worried since CT says past prime. One of the better US Pinots I have had recently. Whoa. There I said it again. thedrunkencyclist.com

This wine appears to be to be at a crossroads, its just about where I like it but still has too much "baby fat". I will give it a try again in 6months
