  Ridiculous Sauvignon Blanc. For the price, you really cannot compare it to anything on the planet. They could charge three times the price for this and still fetch it. This outpaces many Napa sauvignon blancs at probably a third of the price. This wine has attenuated acidity in the front. It was displaying some lime upon initial release, but has now morphed more into a kiwi and melon with a little bit of a limestone grit . The middle of this wine is what makes it so delicious. Ample fruit, balanced by excellent building acidity and minerality. 20 to 30 second finish that does not burn the palate. Quite ridiculous at $20 per bottle. One of my favorites of Summer 2018!

  Notes are fairly consistent compared to the ‘16...I get a bit more peach and nectarine on the nose here. Very lemon tart focused in the middle. Tart, acidic punch at the end full of chalky limestone.
  
  I can’t stress enough how absurd the QPR is here (in a good way). This SB is $20 and is a straight knockout. 100% TX fruit. Whites and rosés are killing it in TX.

  At the price, this is probably one of the best QPR buys in SB. Pours a light straw into the glass. Nose of lemon and peach. The entry of this wine is mostly lemon rind, and some pineapple. Finishes with a hint of limestone on the palate, strong lemon notes, some tart, makes your mouth pucker. Good grip to this wine. Will be a great summer drinker, if I can make any of my remaining bottles last that long. Sadly, none of them will make it I'm almost certain.
