  • Light with high acidity with loads of strawberry, some raspberry and a hefty dose of salty mineral. Floral and refreshing.

  • Wednesday wine session at Chateau YB. Tasted blind. Pop and poured. Drank over 1+ hour.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, very brilliant bright ruby colour. Thin legs.
Nose is NOT clean, screaming out JURA. Medium+ intensity, with aromas of pungent barnyard earth, chicken coop, elephant dung, dried red cherries, fragrant dried rose petals with more air. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, spritzy high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dried red cherries, dried strawberries, fresh raspberries, earthy funk. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality natural wine. I was guessing this was a Ganevat Poulsard.
Turned out to be a blend of Jura Trousseau with Rhone Syrah and Savoie Mondeuse. Drink and enjoy this funky juice. No need for ageing.
