Deep ruby in color; blackberries, black plums, and tabacco smoke on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins; tastes like blackberry sauce, black olives, black pepper and a hint of potting soil with a long finish. Nellie and I both like it and think it paired well with Cajun Fries from Five Guys. I think it would pair well with Texas barbecue.

Deep, dark, ripe and juicy. Black cherries, blackberries, verging on jammy. There's a vanilla cherry cola mixed with medical cough mixture thing going on. Full bodied with lots of soft ripe tannins, medium acid. 15% abv is well hidden. Does not taste hot, but it's almost like a new world style.
