I just had a glass of the ‘18 of this wine - this has a slight oxidative note on the nose, and is a deeper bronze in the glass.
Taut and dry in the palate, with good acidity and persistence - saline finish that is saliva-inducing. I honestly don’t drink enough Tissot to know if the differences between the two wines are vintage related or just a sign of how the wine develops with two additional years in the bottle.
I find both very interesting and delicious, and I’m not sure if I have a favorite here, although the oxidative note on the nose here would probably turn some folks off.
