Red berry aroma with spice, herb, earth and leather notes. Deep, intense aroma.
Thin, acidic berry flavor with a chocolate finish. Fruit is lacking but the acidity is quite sharp, which causes this to be a little out of balance. Smells better than it tastes.
Paired wonderfully with grilled pork and chicken, but underwhelming on a stand-alone basis. Definitely on the decline at this point — drink now.

Gorgeous crimson-ruby under the might with a bit of. rowling apparent. Spiced mixed berries with scorched toast on the nose. When drinking it has a lovely integrated melange of berries, sweetness, and tannic bite. Really good.

Just past its peak drinking window so drink up. The soft and fleshy fruit is just starting to fade but some nice acidity, spice and dried herbs still providing character.

A beautiful mature bottle, this smelled great as soon as the cork was pulled so gave this a decant for sediment. Within 10 minutes we were treated to sweet dark fruit with some very nice secondary developments with exotic spice spice and some beef blood old leathery notes. The best part was the soft silky texture. Couldn't have asked for more from this last bottle.
