Darn delicious. Honeysuckle, green apple and pear with a hint of spice and a distinct saline note. Medium+ finish with medium+ acidity. Very good wine, especially for the price. 90-91

Agree that between the Eola-Amity and this, the YC is more balanced. The alcohol on this wine is 12.5%, and while still high, does not detract like its neighbor.

Pale green-gold. Floral nose, a little sugar cookie, orange and lime. Palate has mineral, satsuma, red and green apple, and a hint of lime. Interesting what 8 months can do. I’ve been drinking a few of the 2016 “K”, which is itself a fine Riesling, but without question the Yamhill-Carlton is now, and should be down the road as well, the more complete wine. Drunk today and two days ago at Thanksgiving feast paired with Game hen with sage and grape sauce over polenta. Excellent.

Pale green-gold color that has a viscous appearance. Nose of pear and nectarine along with some dried flower and dried grass. Off-dry sweetness, resembling a Spaetlese Trocken, with pear, satsuma mandarin and mineral. Very solid wine and honestly quite gluggable. My second Paetra riesling. I'd rate it slightly below the "K", but this would grace any table where a riesling was needed. Very Good.

Sunfish Cellars Grand Tasting (Just $10) (Sunfish Cellars/I Nonni Minneapolis, MN): A bit better than the Eola Amity Hills. A touch of sweetness, green apple, lemon and floral notes. Medium plus finish.
