Crossing Treehouse Vineyard fruit and the Asst Winemaker from Mending Wall leads to a stunning Pinot.
The nose and flavor profile reminds me quite a bit of the Occidental Ridge Pinot from Rivers Marie; bing cherry, dark cherry, a bit of cola, orange zest, citrus and pine; riper fruit but still crisp; rounded tannins and a good little bit of acidity. Really a smooth drinker overall. This has improved over the past year and is a stellar QPR.

This wine had a wonderful, expressive nose, and a good crisp attack on the palate. It seemed to fall off a bit mid -palate, and the finish was just a bit shy. Still, I could have spent the night with my nose in the glass.

July 2018 Rivers-Marie Visit (At Mending Wall winery): This is made from Treehouse vineyard fruit (which is associated to the wines of CIRQ, for what it's worth). Cinnamon, light pine, and an aromatic that seems on the riper side for me. Cherry, some bitter cocoa and a resiny note.

PnP. Nose has red fruit with a whiff of orange. Palate is bright with good acidity. Tons of cherry with some earth in the background.
