i had no idea how this wine would age but at 12 years of age its a thing of beauty. mellowed, to be sure, from its youthful flamboyance, but still well structured and taught with a fragrant nose, great texture, and a long, minerally finish.

This wine has the golden color and viscosity of a Sauternes. Aromas and favors of honeysuckle, toffee and lychee. Excellent texture and body in the mouth with crisp acids on the finish. Still very young and will improve with another 1-2 years in the bottle.

(Lazy Creek Vineyards Gewürztraminer Estate) Pale gold with green highlights. Youthful, intense nose of apricot, honey, and lanolin combined with hints of minerality. Completely dry, with full body and relatively high acidity and alcohol. Lush, velvety texture carries a palate of ripe stone fruit to a clean finish of mineral, apricot, and honey. The wine should have an aging potential of five to seven years. Winery Spotlight: Lazy Creek Vineyards
