  • From .375. Openend 2 hours before dinner and left in fridge without cork. This was drinking beautifully with notes of lemon, orange peel, grapefruit, apricot, honey, toast and vanilla. With well integrated acidity and oak. Flinty minerals and a honeyed saltiness remaining in the medium to long finish. Delicious now from small format

  • This rich Chardonnay has softened in a really nice way.

  • From a half-bottle with standard cork. Medium gold. Upon opening, orchard fruit (mostly pear, but a bit of dried mango), almonds, and a slight touch of cream and coconut. A nice mineral saltiness is also present. On the palate, the attack is fairly frank, with the aromas as found on the nose, lifted by a medium acidity leading to a medium-long length. The oak is now fully integrated and this is very fine. Ready to go and at peak in half-bottles. 92

My last. A wine I initially shared with my wife (RIP) in Morcote, which was surprising, as she very rarely drank alcohol. A good memory.

  • From a half-bottle with standard cork. Medium gold with green reflections. Upon opening, I am reassured by the absence of premox aromas I had in the previous bottle. This time, it is orchard fruit (mostly pear, but a bit of dried mango), almonds, and a slight touch of cream. A nice mineral saltiness is also present. On the palate, the attack is frank, with the aromas as found on the nose, lifted by a medium acidity leading to a medium-long length. The oak is now integrated and this is very fine, if a touch muddled. Ready to go in half-bottles. 91 or so

  • This is more advanced than you would expect from a 2016. Very golden. Ok wine but did not impress me. Had with sushi. Nose was good, but a bit weak on palate. Decent wine, but not great
