Leaner side of a Meursault with modest oak & malo elements, but hits with a lot of fruit density and great mineral & saline tones. Bright acid holds up quite well. Drinks more like a Chassagne but was quite enjoyable, has a few years to go

Butter initially dominates the nose. There’s also freshly cut apple, minerality, and lemon oil.
Medium plus acid with a long mineral-driven finish.
I’m still getting over a cold, so the nose isn’t completely speaking to me. Overall, a good white burgundy, but lacks the concentration/weight of top producer Meursault village bottlings.

Nose of green apples and pear. Maybe a little cream. Palate is a ton of green apple, pineapple, and a lot of acid. Light finish. Not as unctuous as i usually expect from this area. Drinking at peak now and for a few years but don't see it improving.

Maison Louis Latour Tasting with Louis-Fabrice Latour (Capital Grille, NYC): Color is clear pale yellow. Nose is fragrant with white flowers and a touch of burnt match- very pretty. The palate here is a bit richer than the Macon-Lugny, Montagny and Pouilly Fuisse - but not nearly as full as the Grand Ardeche. Tastes of golden apples with bright lemony acidity and florals - very silky mouthfeel.

Aged 8-10 months in oak barrels, the palate gives away some yeasty/toasty characteristics with quite a bit of floral and spice notes. I get a lot of spice and flowers again on the palate, particularly chamomile tea, which I really appreciate. It's delicate but also a serious wine.
